Commitment to Safety

At D'Annunzio & Sons, Inc., the management team is committed to the safety of each and every employee. The common goal is that safe and healthy working conditions must be the first consideration in operating a construction job site. A safe work environment ensures an efficient and successful project for everyone involved, from the client to the trade worker. The D'Annunzio management team firmly believes that the personal health and safety of each and every employee is paramount. In keeping with the highest standards, and to the greatest degree possible, the management will provide the environment, policies, procedures, equipment and training required for personal health and safety. Preventing occupational induced injuries and illnesses takes precedence over operating productivity at all times.

In order to reach our goal of a safe and injury free workplace, NO employee is ever required or expected to work at a task or job site that they suspect is not healthy or safe. Cooperation in detecting hazards, and controlling those hazards, is a condition of employment. D'Annunzio has a Drug and Alcohol policy and a Distracted Driving Policy in place for all employees.

All D'Annunzio employees are granted the power and responsibility to inform their supervisor of any situation beyond his/her ability to correct and are also empowered to stop the job until unsafe conditions are corrected.

What makes this approach successful is the nonstop commitment toward proper attitude and a culture for injury and illness prevention on the part of all D'Annunzio employees.

D'Annunzio maintains an in-house safety department. This offers the ability to constantly monitor ongoing projects and to offer our employees real-time safety education and awareness.
